Our Founders
Pastor W.F. and Pauletta Floyd have been in the ministry for over 40 years. Following their retirement and move to Florida in 2011, they promptly began supporting various church ministries throughout the Tampa Bay area with an emphasis on building and assisting pastors and their families. It is not uncommon to find W.F. and Pauletta on the move. From teaching, singing praise and worship, shopping for items for someone in need, to marriage counseling or in a prayer meeting. They constantly give of themselves to help others.
In 2019, the Floyds established Undershepherds Undershepherds (UU) and officially became a 501(c)3 to continue serving pastors and churches. However, in three short years, UU has further expanded its reach in communities throughout the Tampa Bay area. The expansion includes providing food, necessities, resources, and support to anyone in need.
While serving different ministries, we began to notice communities with deeper-felt needs: families in need of food and shelter; immigrants in need of blankets during the cold winter months; and parents/caretakers struggling to provide gifts for their children during the holiday season. Our goal is to see a need and meet it wherever we go. ” W.F. Floyd (CEO)
